Evening Session on September 9th

Entrance to the Tierpark Berlin (covering 160 hectares)  - the tierpark is Europe‘s largest landscape zoo, guiding the visitor through the fauna of six contintents to enjoy and relaxe. Here you can explore spacious open-air enclosures for herds of hoofed animals, great expanses of water for waterfowl and flamingos, impressive animal houses and many more.

Start with an elaborate Welcome Dinner in the Tierpark by a great buffet with salads, desserts and warm and cold food in various flavors. The location offers a fantastic ambience with the typical charm of the region. All drinks are free this evening and you can choose between different non-alcoholics, beer and wine.

The evening is musically accompanied by the duo Aire Bueno. The music program enfolds latin american music-style till classic music.

Evening Session on September 10th

A special experience is the trip through the watercourses of Berlin with the largest ship of the town at this evening. The sea trip will sail across Berlin and visit many places of interest. An english live-guide will explain and entertain you all the way. There will be plenty of refreshments and a opulent dinner buffet on board.

As a special event during the boat trip a caricaturist will draw quick cartoons of interested participants. Each drawing will take around three minutes, but so a unique souvenir of the EnviroInfo 2009 Conference is created for the participants.

After Event Session on September 11th

Experience the history of Berlin from an unconventional perspective with a tour through the underground! You will see an exhibition in the civil defence shelter at Blochplatz and get an impressions of the subterranean Berlin.
